This is at the end of Chapter 7 ("Turn off the TV") -- from a 1998 study by someone named Wu: "Watching too much TV can triple our hunger for more possessions, while reducing our personal contentment by about 5% for every hour a day we watch."

But who really cares about that study? It's just common sense. Chapter 7 opens with a much more interesting insight: "Television is a creamy filling that distracts us from the substance of our lives."

In addition to the caller ID information, you also get a speakerphone function for hands free use of the phone while driving. The mirror is powered off of the car, as you would expect, but also has a battery built in that will allow for 150 hours of standby or 7 hours of talk time.
