Google Video

|
So there's this big hoopla over Google's new Video Upload Program. You can upload your digital videos and promote them and even charge people for viewing them.

Is it just me or has Google just hooked themselves up with free pr0n for life? Imagine the employee incentives over there now. Finish a project early? We'll give you 50 gigabytes of voyeur bandwidth to access the video database at home.

Brilliant!

PS. Yes I know they say they won't allow pr0n on there, but c'mon, you think no one's gonna try?

360

Just to clarify, the Yahoo! 360° and the Xbox 360 are not the same thing.

Yahoo! 360° is a Yahoo!'s new Orkut/Friendster/MySpace imitation website that semi-integrates in with other Yahoo! services.

The Xbox 360 is the next Xbox that Microsoft is unveiling on May 16th.

Now I can sleep tight.

Around the Web - Gmail Turns 1

Gmail is giving more storage to every user, 2 gigabytes to be exact. Well, it's a running clock, starting from 1 gigabyate and increasing every second until it gets to 2. The good gets better.
Storage is an important part of email, but that doesn't mean you should have to worry about it. To celebrate our one-year birthday, we're giving everyone one more gigabyte. But why stop the party there? Our plan is to continue growing your storage beyond 2GBs by giving you more space as we are able. We know that email will only become more important in people's lives, and we want Gmail to keep up with our users and their needs. From Gmail, you can expect more.
